Occupational Therapy
A qualified and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) assists the physician in evaluating the patient’s level of function in the area of activities in daily living and restores that function to the optimum level.
- Evaluation of activities of daily living retraining
- Adaptation of utensils used in activities of daily living, i.e., eating utensils, dressing devices, and personal hygiene devices
Medical Social Work
Medical Social Workers (MSW) assist the patient/family in understanding the significant social and emotional factors. Used in direct relation to the treatment of the patient’s medical condition, also, in relation to social problems that includes finances, housing, and caregiver concerns.
